Closing Ceremony @ Pra-Pon Kaltim, King's Bowl.
After
a long 10 days of competition, the Pre-qualification interstate championship
finally ended and closed by the local mayor. The conclusion of this
qualification saw 12 states passed to the final interstate championship in
July later this year, in which each states will be represented by 3 men and
3 ladies. These are the qualified states:

2. JABAR
3. JATIM
4. SUMUT
5. BANTEN
6. SUMBAR
7. SUMSEL
8. RIAU
9. SULSEL
10. BALI
11. JATENG

Rangga & Happy Emerged as the masters champions
Rangga
defeated Ryan in the final stepladder match 216 to 197 to claim the men
master champions. Ryan who defeated Junaidi in the 1st stepladder
match received a Silver and Junaidi received Bronze. In the ladies
masters, it was Happy who emerged as the master champions as she defeated
fellow state Ivana 214 to 190.

Novie of DKI & Rangga of JABAR lead the 1st block masters
Novie
had lined of 216, 266, 213, 194, 194, 231, 232, 189 totaling of 1735
pinfall, Happy was trailing behind with 1731. All the 5 ladies of DKI
were on the top 5 after the 1st block. Meanwhile, in the men master,
Rangga from JABAR had a comfortable lead of 155 pins, he had 1885 pinfall,
coming in the 2nd was Donto with 1730 pinfall.

KALTIM 1st Gold from Men Trios and JABAR 3rd GOLD from all event
KALTIM,
the home team, finally got their 1st Gold medal from men trios event this
afternoon. Silver goes to DKI and Bronze goes to JATIM. In the All
event, Rangga of JABAR claimed the Gold medal, silver claimed by Junaidi and
Bronze belonged to Ryan L from DKI. The top 16 from all event will bowl in
master event.

Gold for DKI from Trios and All Event
Jakarta
gets additional 2 Gold from Ladies team trios event this afternoon and from
Ladies all event. Bowling in the 2nd squad, Trios Jakarta, Novie,
Happy and Ivana shot total of 3539 pinfall to win the 3rd Gold for DKI.
SUMBAR took home the Silver with 3463 pinfall and JABAR sneak into 3rd
position for Bronze with total of 3366 pinfall. Happy of DKI added the
4th Gold for DKI from all event with total of 3824 pinfall.

JABAR grabbed the 2nd Gold from Men Double Event
Jabar
duo Oscar & Rangga present the 2nd Gold for their state. The duo
combine total pinfall of 2717 to win the Gold. Jakarta double of Ryan
L & Hengky grabbed the Silver with 2675 pinfall. Bronze goes to KALTIM
with duo of Aswin & Junaidi with 2501 pinfall.

Duo Novie & Happy give Jakarta 2nd Gold Medal
Jakarta
gets their 2nd Gold from Duo Novie & Happy in the double event this
afternoon. Both combine a superb score of 2735. The duo lead
from game 1 thru 6 and ended up 369 pins ahead from the 2nd place.
Silver goes to duo Rahmaniah & Santje from KALTIM with 2366 pinfall .
Bronze goes to duo Tamadara & Rinne from JABAR with 2295 pinfall.

JABAR the 1st Gold in Men Single Event
Jerry
M from Bandung, JABAR snapped the 1st Gold for his state in the men single.
He bowled in the last squad and opened up the game with 242 and never looked
after that. He had lined of 242, 234, 243, 229, 244, 216 with total of
1408. Meanwhile, David Sitorus of DKI took home the Silver with 1355
pinfall and KALTIM took home the bronze with 1343 pinfall by Junaidi.

Happy Soediono
snatched the 1st Gold for DKI Jaya in Single Event
The
1st Gold of the tournament belonged to DKI Jaya, Happy totaled 1282 to win
the gold medal. Meanwhile, Novie who finished 2nd with 1269 was not
entitled to a Silver medal due to the tournament rules. Only 1 state
can win a medal. The silver went to Tan Bie Ling from JATENG with
total of 1227, Bronze went to Zulfidarni of SUMBAR with 1196. Double
will be played on 2nd March. For Single Result go to Ladies Single
section.

Opening ceremony
The
pre-Interstate championship was officially opened by
Mayor
of Samarinda. Total of 82 men and 64 ladies will
take part for this pre event. This is a qualification event,
where only 12 provinces, total of 15 provinces take part,
will advance to the final interstate championship in July this
year. Tournament will start on 29 with ladies single.
